2 Unknown Device Detected in Canon MP500
The print head on my MP 500 died a while back, so I got a new one from Amazon. Print head appears to be authentic, but when the print head and cartridges are all installed, the printer says there is an "unknown device" that must be removed. I've used the cartridges before, so I know they work, and the printer does not give me a print head related error message when the print head is in there alone. Any ideas as to what could be causing this error?
Philip Jermoloycz I just checked the service manual for any type of error code on your printer but can not find anything on it. So the error only comes up when both, the printhead and the tanks are installed? Any other error?
