I have a psr175

I have bought a replacement adaptor but when I turn it on there’s just a continuous loop of a sound coming from the speakers and nothing works. Any help would be much appreciated

@justmustard this does not sound like a power adapter issue but just for completion sake let us know why you replaced the adapter. Your Yamaha PSR-175 needs a Yamaha PA-3C or PA-3B AC (12V DC 700mA)power adapter. Make sure you remove any old batteries and check the contacts on those.

It is possible that you have a stuck key/bad keyboard matrix or have an issue with your keyboard circuit board. I’d disassemble the keyboard and take a look at the PCB’s first to check for any obvious damage.
