Beeping sounds, black screen, not starting up

My iMac is not starting up with beeping sounds (every 5 seconds) and a black screen.

I checked the memory modules & slots as well as put in another set of working memory. However it is same.

Do I have to disassemble & change the power supply or what problem on this iMac?

Please advise me if you have experienced this case.

Thank you

Here’s a good write up on the Beeps (Tones) The different Mac startup tones and the problems they indicate and here’s the Apple T/N on Tones About Mac startup tones

Are you sure you’ve installed the SODIMM’s correctly? Can you give us a bit more on what happened at the start. Was the system working and then stop? Are you using a surge suppressor or a UPS? Did your power get a disruption or did you have a lightning storm?

I installed & tested each 4G memory PC3L type correctly & was working with no ups & no storm damaged.

Can you put back in the original modules back in alone. Does the system work then? You may need to try different slots.

Was the system working before you added the RAM?

I put a working checked memory in all each slots however same situation. I think the power supply has issues. I will take the screen off & replace the power supply.

Please advise me if you have any good advise. I don’t want to take the screen sensitive. Thanks.

Beep tones wouldn't be related to the power supply.

It would be your logic board that's damaged!
