Insignia LCD with sound but very dim picture
I have an insignia NS-43DR710NA17 roku 43” smart tv. It is 2 years and 10 months old. This afternoon the screen went very dark. It is still faintly visible and every 3 or 4 seconds or so there is a flicker between the dim screen and pitch black. Power is running and sound is perfect. Any ideas?
I have a NS-50DF710NA19 that is doing the same thing. Dark shadow of a picture, sound is fine and flickers every 3 seconds or so. This TV has a Best Buy logo on the back and couldn't be 3 years old, doesn't that sound young for a total failure?

Hey Anthony, I’m surprised someone found this post almost 3 years later! That is exactly what happened to mine, dark enough that you really couldn’t even see the screen in pitch black. There was nothing I could really do at that point, given that the tv was close to 3 years old I opted to just buy a new TV. Bought a Samsung that still works great to this day, had one minor issue with it a couple months ago, but they fixed it free of charge even though it was very out of warranty.
