iPhone lcd glass replacement

Hello, i have been watching many videos on replaceing the glass on screens, does anyone know if you have to replace the polerizer after you use a wire to separate the glass from the lcd?

If you did a clean cut when separating and havnt scratched the polarizer then you don't need to replace it.
