SNES Controllers don't work, Motherboard issue?

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a beat up SNES for cheap, but I've had a few issues with it. I replaced the broken power port, which was obvious. The console turns on and loads the games up perfectly, but I have no control with the controllers. I've tried testing new controllers, which also don't work, so the controller is not the issue. I've also replaced the whole controller port piece, and it still doesn't work. I'm guessing there is something going wrong on the motherboard, but I have no idea where to even look. You guys have any ideas as to what could be going wrong? Or what I could do to fix it? Thanks!
