Macbook not coming on

I replaced the top plate on my Macbook following the instructable on this website and now i can't get it to come on. When i turn it on it makes the normal noise of booting up but then nothing happens. The power light in the bottom right corner begins to blink. Please help!!!

I have tried re-seating the ram several times and still get the same result. Again, i replaced my top case with a new one that i got off line using the instrucable on this website. Now my computer won't come on. I can here the fan kick on but it does not make the starting chime. After about a sec or two the power button starts to blink. Could it be that ruined the ram and just need to get more?

Sounds like bad ram, try re-seating it.

Try resetting the PMU. With the power off, and while connected to AC, hold the power button in until you hear a tone and see the sleep light blink. Hopefully this will kick it out of the mode it seems to be in.

You mention it doesn't chime, but is it beeping? I agree with the other two posts, in that it does sound like a RAM issue.

You might want to put the old topcase back on temporarily, just to rule out the new topcase as the problem, i.e. if the old topcase works fine, then you know the new one is the problem, whereas if the old one doesn't work either, then you know you're dealing with an issue unrelated to the topcases.

Try inserting one RAM chip at a time. Try both in one slot, then both in slot two.
