JVC dvd/vhs won't stay running
I have a JVC vcr/dvd player that shuts itself off after a few seconds. I have repeatedly followed the instructs to no avail. I am hoping to find a solution here.

Try a different outlet and without the use of a power strip. The power supply could be failing. Also when it comes on, try to insert a disk. It may have an auto power off feature if no media is present.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have tried several ideas including that one. Near as I can figure, something is wrong inside. I have used the instructions that came with the machine. A few times. With no success. I am usually pretty handy fixing things, but this has me stumped. Thank you again for the effort.
