Our washer turns on but no lights Nothing but when we unplug it the lights show then turn off

Take the back off and use a multimeter to start tracing the electrical continuity. Look for loose or disconnected wires or possible cold sold joints/. Check the fuses for continuity.

I did not use a Kenmore washer, but I had a similar occurrence. Have you checked the fuses inside the washer? The fuse box location should/will be in the instructs. If you don’t have the manual, go to where you purchased it and ask. If that is not possible, there are instructs for EVERYTHING on line… good luck
