When I type anything it appears one letter to the right and I cannot key in any of the far left keys. b keys as C, c keys as d, etc. I cannot key any of the far left keys. Obviously I can work around this unless I need the far left keys.

you can calibrade the screen. From the main menu, touch settings, then screen. the manual does make reference to using the remote control to access that page if necesary.
