Whirlpool Duet Washing Machine leaking from back on clean cycle only

I have a Whirlpool Duet washing machine that was purchased in 2012/2013. Over the last year or so, we’ve noticed that when we run the clean washer cycle (6 o’clock on the selection dial) that the washer will leak sudsy water out of the back side. Enough that we have to pull it out and put towels down to catch all of the water. If you’re looking at the back of the washer, the leaking would be coming out of the holes on the top right side (I have photos if I can figure out how to add them).

My thought is is that the washer may be clogged due to us having two dogs that shed and the hair is built up somewhere thus not allowing the machine to drain properly. Please let me know if you can help!
