1 2012 13" MacBook Pro won't turn on unless battery is unplugged first!
My 13" 2012 Macbook Pro has not been starting up (and randomly shutting down when unplugged). I'm looking to get it fixed. It does not turn on unless I unplug the battery from the mother board then plug it back in (Ive tried resetting the PRAM and SMC…no response).
The battery is only showing around 150 cycles and it was replaced back in 2015. The battery is also showing a charge when plugged in.
I noticed that the mag safe light flickers green when I am trying to boot up...but no response. I am also hearing a clicking, from beneath the power button, when pressing the power button but no response on the screen or with the boot up chimes. Any help is appreciated. Thank You!

My primitive CompTIA A+ skills tell me to try a replacement battery and/or another charger to see if this solves the issue before diving deeper into any other troubleshooting.
I'm going to tag some mac gurus that are more knowledgeable than me to help out on this issue to provide more in-depth insight @mayer @danj
