Spilled beer on keyboard and won't turn on

Sadly you likely just made things worse ;-{

Beer or soda have sugars and other stuff that will allow bacteria to grow and cause corrosion. What was needed is a complete disassembly of the system to then wash down the parts in distilled water, Now you’ll need a soft tooth brush as well as the beer has dried caked on all of the parts. Even after cleaning what you can you may need to replace a few parts like the battery, keyboard & trackpad as these are not cleanable.

For now you should pop the bottom cover off and disconnect the battery to slow down the corrosion and keep the system cool until you can either clean things up of get someone more skilled to help you.

This may not be salvageable system given the costs. Hopefully you can salvage your drive.
