What kind of adhesive do I need to repair my wifi-card?

I’m having issues with my WiFi connection which I’m pretty sure has to do with my WiFi card. I just did a test to open it up and look at it to see if it was just loose before I spent the money on another WiFi card. After peeling back the tape on the iSight cable and the Wifi card, the adhesive is still working but is a bit loose. If I peel it back again, I may need new adhesive.

So my questions are:

1. What kind of tape is used on the iSight cable?
2. What kind of tape is used on the WiFi card?

The tape on the iSight cable is noticeably thinner and not as “grippy”. Is it gorilla tape? Electrical tape?
