I have been upgrading my PC for a while. Right now I want to upgrade my CPU. I was wondering if an Intel Core i7-9700K will work with my PC. I have a Dell Precision T1500.

Not possible.
The processors used on that computer are 1st generation Intel processors that use a different generation motherboard and different CPU socket.
You would need to do basically a new PC build as the only parts compatible when upgrading to a better PC would be only the hard drive and peripherals such as keyboard, mouse and monitor most of the time.

Ok. Then what is the best CPU that would be compatible? Or would I just be better off building a new PC?
It would be a i7 870 for that computer, but it would be better to build a new PC.
