A1474 screen on A1893
i have working A1474 screen and trying to install on A1893 connector seems to match but when i turn it on its like old TV so are they limiting this from software?

A1474 - iPad Air
A1893 - iPad 6th Generation
The A1474 LCD display is compatible on the A1893. But probably not the other way around.

I stand corrected. The 821-1824-A apple part number on the LCD display flex cable was seen on both a replacement LCD for a Air 1, iPad 5 and iPad 6 (A1893) even.
I just tried an iPad 6 and Air 1 replacement LCD on a 6 and it works flawlessly.
