Why is my truck not starting up but trying to start my sp are wet

My truck was working perfectly fine into one evening I decided to go somewhere and my muffler blew up , luckily I’m still Alive well I though it was my cat converter so I took it off ( putting new one on ) to see if it will crank but I wasn’t the case , so we look at spark plugs the spark plugs were wet but there also was a noise in the engine , a noise I never heard before since I had the truck in 2016 so now we thinking the timing have jumped. would this be the case ? ???????It has over 230,000. PLEASE I NEED HELP THIS MY ONLY TRANSPORTATION AND I DONT WANT TO LEFT WITH A TRUCK
