CPU error LED is on, fans are working and hdd is spinning but no boot.
My specs are: zotac gtx 970, intel i5 6500, two sticks of 4gb crucial 2133 mhz ddr4 ram, 500gb samsung 850 evo ssd, 2tb seagate barracuda hdd, msi h170 pc mate, and corsair h60 cooler, with a evga 500b psu.
I was using my pc in the morning and it was working fine with no abnormalities. When I tried to turn it on later that day, I heard the fans start spinning but no beeps from my mobo and no boot. Currently I am running a test bench style with my mobo sitting on my cpu box to eliminate the possibility of a short resulting from the case. Unfortunately, the error LED for the cpu is on when I turn on my computer and it is still not booting. What should I do?

have you tried booting the pc with the video card disconnected and monitor plugged into the mobo? also try check to see if any cables loose or settings on monitor are correct. if this is a newly built system and the error is it spins and turns off, check to see the cpu cooler is on properly, if it overheats the cpu too quickly, the pc will shut itself off.

The system is more than two years old and has been working without a hitch until now. When I try to turn it on the fans spin until I power the system down so there is no crashing taking place. I just tried to boot without the video card and the monitor plugged into the mobo but still no success. I have also tried moving around the ram and attempting to boot with only one of the sticks but that has not worked either.
