Trying to mod and broke my nerf roughcut. Can anyone help?

I'm just getting into competitive nerd and wanted to try modding my roughcut. I took it apart to replace the spring with a more powerful one and when I put it back together it wont prime. It is just stuck in the up position. My best guess is I took it apart primed but I'm fairly new to modding nerf guns and dont know how to fix it. Any ideas?
