Hi @costrout ,

What OS is installed in the PC?

If it is Win 10 try the following:

Create a Win 10 recovery USB disc from any known working Win 10 PC.

In the host PC go to Control panel > Recovery > create a recovery drive. You’ll need an 8GB flashdrive and about 40-60 minutes of time.

When you have the USB disc, insert it into the faulty PC and then start the PC. When it starts (and before it boots into Windows) press F1 to enter BIOS. In BIOS find the boot order options and alter it to have USB as the 1st boot option. Also find a setting called Legacy support or similar and enable it. Save the settings and exit from BIOS.

When the PC restarts it should boot from the USB flashdrive.

When the Windows Recovery Environment menus appear, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > you can now either choose System Restore and restore the PC to a point in time before the problem started (if you have restore points that is) or select Startup repair and follow the prompts.

DO NOT select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC as you could accidentally erase all your data and reinstall Windows.
