1 Why can’t my Xbox one wireless controller sync button wont work?
The sync button on the system works fine but the sync button on my controller wont work at all. But if i connect the controller to the system via usb then i can use the controller totally fine but as soon as i unplug it i can not use it. I just cant seem to get the xbox logo on the controller to flash indicating its syncing.
I have this with mine too, and the button is jammed. I've tried prying it out a bit as suggested in many tutorials, but it has been unsuccessful so far. I thought maybe prying the button up for a few seconds, pressing it down, and then prying it back up would do something, but nothing happens. Either the button for mine is somehow still jammed, or the button has lost functionality.

Try to connect the wireless controler directly with a standard data USB cable. I recently solder new pad controler, then the controler wasn't sync. Just plug in the USB cable between the console and the joystick controler makes synchronization once. And unplug the USB cable, then the wireless connectivity works again perfectly @ 100%. cheers Pascal
