Vertical Lines JVC HD-58S998 TV No Picture

Getting Coloured Vertical Lines on my JVC HD-58S998 Televison

Problem outline:

1. When I turn on the TV, most time I get nothing. No picture. I wait for a bout 5 minutes and the vertical lines appear. I turn off the TV, let the lamp cool, and turn it back on and picture reappears and all works fine!
2. When I turn on the TV, no picture, no volume control showing, and no vertical lines. Turn it off, wait for the lamp to cool, turn it back on, vertical lines appear as noted in 1 above, turn off as above and picture appears / works fine.
3. When I turn on the TV (this happened today) via HDMI 1080i no picture, but can see tv volume up and down, changed a few inputs and when I went to our Wii using RCA inputs vertical lines appeared. Turn off the TV, and turned it back on as above and TV works fine!
4. Suggestions on what the issue could be…which part could need attention, cold solder attention etc?
