Why does my loudspeaker not work and why is my screen locking itself?

The other day I replaced my google pixel screen, battery, and power button assembly. The screen works great but now it will lock itself at random and the loud speaker no longer work (so no ringing phone but I can still use the microphone/small phone speaker). How could I have fried the loudspeaker? Why is the phone locking itself all the time? Is it worth taking it apart and possibly breaking the screen again?
Some issues during the install:
- Cracked the old screen
- Used a heating source with no temperature control (mini hot air gun that can also be a soldering iron)
- Ended up ripping black tape underneath battery. I assumed it was a heatsink so I just used silver heatsink paste as a fix.
