Computer still running everything else without power

So good Day,

Today i had a Random Encounter while playing.

My Monitors went black Sound cut Mouse and Keyboard were without power aswell, but the pc Didnt turned of by Holding the powre buttom or pressing Restart.

Windows Event Log didnt gave any clue after unplugging.

Specs:

Ryzen 7 1800X ( Auto OC)

KFA 2 GTX 1070 EX

16GB G.Skill Aegis 3000 MHz CL 16-18-18-38

Corsair VS550 550 Watt

MSI b450-a pro

Kingston 120GB, Crucial MX500 500gb SSD

hm Stress Test was Fine had it sit for 1:30hr.

psu should be fine worked before with a i7 on it without an probs OC aswell.

but yet didnt happend again.

maybe just a hiccup of the different sutff that ran the same time was a ba combi.

4 Anti hacks of different games sometimes arent a good mix lol

I'd still probably look at upgrading to at least a 650. Just a cursory entry of your specs in the calculator put you at 560 and change watts. Personally, I would rather be on the high side than risk under-powering my CPU and causing other issues. YMMV though, good luck!

That power supply is right on the verge of being too small for your setup. I would look to upgrade it or you will probably continue to have problems.

Hello, try to run a stress test for your components to figure which one is damaged.

I’ll suggest to use Aida64, you can download it here

After you install it, go to tools and click on System Stability Test

Block Image

Choose one or more tests, click on start and keep your eyes on the temperatures.

if nothing happened, then verify your psu cables and make sure that you plugged them well on all of your components.

Finally i found the problem the PSU was Faultie.

replacement is on the way.
