Why is the screen on my Toshiba 32S3653 so dark?
Hi
My TV was working fine today then I came back and the screen was really dull. Could only just see it.
I've loaded some photos

iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法 to post some pictures with your question. From what it reads like, this is a backlight issue. Most likely a bad power board but there is also a possibility of a bad main board or bad backlight strips. Let us see what it shows and eventually you will have to remove the back cover and take a look at the boards. Post some images of those as well.
Update (11/13/2018)
Since it is a Toshiba, service manuals are hard to come by. Toshiba is paranoid about their manuals and does not want anybody to fix their stuff. I attached the schematic for the PSU. Measure the 24V and 12V rails and see if those voltages are present.

Check in setting brightness, make reset all setting, when still dark, looks like LED invertor defekt...

I will check that tonight. That doesn’t look too expensive.

Hi,
Unfortunately not.
The picture is faint in the background, sometimes getting brighter but never bright.
