At startup my Mac Mini is no longer accepting my password
I have reinstalled Leopard but the page requesting Password and then Master Password opens straight away and then refuses my Passwords.
Should this happen after reinstalling Leopard? I may not have done it properly.
I thought that I would have the option to renew passwords at this stage and in key chain also.

It you installed from a retail 10.5 disk, reboot from it and hold down the C key. Go to the installation procedure, on the second page the pull down menu will appear. From under Utilities go to change password and change it. Next I would run Disk Utilities and see if you have a problem. At this point i would return to the installation and do a full re-install. When the installation is complete it should restart on its own and go to the set up page.
If you ever need to eject a disk manually, shut down the computer by pressing and holding the power button, Upon restart hold down the mouse and the disk should eject.

What happens when you don’t use a password at all are you able to get in?
I’m suspecting the PRAM settings got lost as the PRAM battery has died. Mac mini (PowerPC) PRAM Battery Replacement Given the age of your system it’s likely dead.

I am unable to get into Leopard without a password, I never was able to do this.
Also the only way that I could get the Instillation Disk out was to insert a metal ruler and rise the disk up a little and then reboot; only then it eject.
What I cannot comprehend is why this page is showing if I reinstalled Leopard 10.5.1 properly, surely I should be led to a password formulation page at this point.
Is it necessary at the start of the instillation of Leopard 10.5.1 to manually restart the Mac ?
I will try to find out some more about pram batteries, Thank You.
