Where to find devices capacity.
I have iphone 8, model number A1863, which has a passcode lock. I need to know how many gigs this device has without having the option of going into the settings.

If you have the device serial number handy, you may be able to call Apple and have them look the device up.

If you plug it in to the pc does it not tell you the details of the device plugged in?

If you have already trusted a computer, you can connect it to the computer and see what iTunes says, or use another application to read the capacity. Alternatively, you could take out the logic board and read the details off the memory chip on the board, and reference that off the data sheet from the manufacturer of the chip, but that is a bit extreme and is more of a last resort
