I cannot change the home location on my device

When searching for an address, your device will automatically search for matching addresses within the state or province where you're currently located. When near a state line, the device will also search in the neighboring state(s).

To search for an address in a different state:

1. Touch Where To?
2. Touch Address
3. Enter the house number
4. Touch Done
5. Enter the street name
6. Touch Next
7. Touch the Searching in button
8. Enter the desired state
   • You may also enter a city or a city/state combination
9. Touch Done
10. Confirm the desired state

The device will now search for matching addresses within the specified city and/or state.

To search for an address within a specific city, you may also follow these steps:

1. Touch Where To?
2. Touch the Searching near button
3. Touch A Different City
4. Spell the name of the city only
5. Touch the green magnifying glass or the desired city name in the blue search results
6. Confirm the desired city and state

Now that the city and state are set, you may continue the address search as described in steps 2-6 of the first set of instructions above.

Alternatively, you may use the quick search bar at the top of the Where To? menu to enter the entire address all at once.

If the steps/instructions above do not work for your device, click on Support Center and enter the Product Name or the Serial Number of your device.  Once your device is entered, search the FAQs under the Common Topics or select Other to search using your own search terms.
