Professional Repair on Bose 3.2.1
Is there any company that does repairs on the Bose 3.2.1 System that are reputable?

There are many on this forum that could possibly repair this for you (myself included). But… Lets start with the reason for the repair. Perhaps with a little guidance, you may be able to repair this yourself.
What is the problem with this unit?

Hi Dan, I hardly know how to explain what is going on but thank you for your offer to help! When Unit is powered on the display light comes on but goes off immediately! Some one told me to try holding down the source button while turning it on! I did that and the unit stayed on! I went through the sources and the aux, am/fm, video 1, Video 2 lights came on! The CD player showed no disc best to my recollection! I did not try to do the eject button on cD as unit seemed to just stop doing anything! I bought this from a individual who had told me that the cd/dvd tray would not eject which was exactly what mine Original one was doing! When I first called Bose they told me that the Subwoofer and Speakers would not work with any of their other systems! So, I trashed my unit; not realizing that I could have hooked any other dvd/cd system through the aux setting! I don’t want to get rid of my speakers etc if I can get this unit fixed at a reasonable price! Thanks for any help Dan
So the unit starts up now, but the CD won't work correct?
If this is the case, then the CD may be repairable. If I recall correctly, some of the Bose units used Sony optics assemblies which are still available on the market. Where are you located? If you don't feel comfortable repairing this yourself, perhaps someone in your area may be able to assist.
Please confirm the problem the CD and we'll go from there.
Thank you Abrsvc. The Tray does NOT EJECT! When the UNIT is powered on, it makes a humming sound and went off immediately! When I tried again while tapping the source button, the Humming Sound was still there and while the Unit advanced to other settings using the Source Button, then it could not be powered back down or go through the Source Cycles again! Had to be Unplugged!
The CD mechanism is in an odd state and while there (once selected) won't "release" the system until it gets to a known state. This can be fixed, but will require dis-assembly.
No sound is coming out of speakers but main box is lights up, the subwoofer not working how do I repair

Thanks Aaron, No; I live in NC! I’d hate to pay shipping and then find out it is irreparable or price for repair is too high! What kind of business Do you take these things to get repaired? Thanks again Aaron
