My MacBook is not starting up.
Suddenly my MacBook pro is not starting up at all. Tried smc reset and it's not helping either. I went to an apple care service centre too and they said that the motherboard is short and it needs to be replaced.
I'm looking for cheaper alternatives since it's a 5 year old device. I'm attaching the image for better clarification.
Edit : highlighted the place of issue/short circuit?

Your system needs a good cleaning! The dust buildup could be the start of your problems.
Get a soft paint brush and a can of can'ed air scrub the surfaces of the logic board both top and bottom (removing it) use care as you don't want to snag any of the small SMT chips. Clean the heat sink fins and the fans as well, and don't forget the case its self. Use short blasts of the can'ed air to blow the junk away. Once you've done this take a fresh set of images both top & bottom sides, do three across so we can see each part of the board in detail.
I have a suspicion you have some corrosion damage from the moisture being held but the dust. But we can't be sure as we can't see the board clearly through the built-up.

I'll clean it properly and upload the photos again. Meanwhile, I've edited and uploaded the pictures pointing to the issue as told by the apple service centre executive.
