Printer screen is stuck & continually shows (won’t allow normal copy, fax, scan to display) - "The original is jammed in the automatic document feeder (ADF). Open the ADF cover, remove and reload the original, and then try again.” Nothing is jammed or stuck. Will print eMails and attachments from computer, but, cannot copy documents . What is the cost of repair? Is this printer worth fixing? Thanks & Regards, Jim

Are you able to scan Documents ?
if you are not able to scan documents then the scanner is defective,
paper jam : where is the paper is getting jammed ? if it is mechanical rollers check if the rollers are stuck or on anything is stuck or clocking the way,
check your fuser and toner/drum life if it is expired or exceed it will also cause to jam
try using compatible or used spare parts the price will be less, but not sure how long they will work if you buy original it will be expensive,
better to buy a new it will at least work for 2 years with out any issue, if serviced properly , only to replace the toner.

I am having the same problem. There was a legit paper jam and while clearing it, a miniscule piece remains stuck in the ADF out of my ability to reach. I really NEED to fix this feature on THIS printer. Due to permissions at work, I will not be able to add a new printer…

It's definitely a great printer but now with windows 11 update, mine is ERROR; not enabled for EWS (but it IS enabled) & CONSTANT issues with the instant ink. It was a good printer. Time to bury.
