Wf-3640 paper jam when scanning or faxing
Every time I try to scan or fax more than 1 page, the first page goes through fine but the 2nd page jams.
The Epson WF-2540 is an all-in-one color inkjet printer. It features a 2.5-inch LCD touchscreen and four individual ink cartridges.
I have experienced this problem as well. I have found a work around for myself this AM. I put a USB stick in and scan to the USB stick and it works for multiple pages that way. The down side here is that it scans everything into a single pdf file on the USB stick. I realize this is kind of a painful extra step to have to transfer the files via a memory device every time. This is fine for my applications, but may not work for yours I suppose for other possible reasons. Also when clearing the jams and the very poorly done dialogs on the touch screen of the printer, it is easy to fail to close the ADF lid fully and it then of course fails to feed the documents every time you reattempt. You must take care to fully close the ADF lid every time you clear a jam.
Thanks but that didn’t work for me. It still jams on the second page. I can scan multiple pages into one pdf by putting the pages on the flatbed and clicking “Add a page” to add additional pages. If I need to fax multiple pages, I have to scan them into one pdf and save it, then fax it using the Fax printer. It’s just a hassle doing it this way. I’m hoping to get an answer as to why the second page jams when scanning and faxing.
