Weber Grill Pressure Regulator Diagnosis / Replacement

Block Image

Trying to figure out what is wrong with a older model propane grill made by weber. someone cranked on the plastic collar , attached to the pressure regulator with a wrench . i dunno why. I suspect the compression fitting i guess for the pressure regulator will not work correctly now , maybe cracked from using a wrench for no reason.

grill was working perfect before this now no smell of propane , appears to have no gas flow . Part of the problem is i dunno / remember what the model is . I have attached a few more pics below.

if i am correct , i just need a new pressure regulator , so if anyone has any ideas on what a “good” compatible model or just weber OEM one i could buy it would be appreciated.

See if helps nail down the problem Propane Grill Regulator & Hose Replacement

Do be careful! Propane does not have an odor additive like household gas does.

If I remember correctly, there were changes made in propane regulators about the mid-ninties https://www.google.com/search?client=saf...
