Battery cycle and degradation data seems to go with the battery itself. On the battery management board there is a controller chip keeping count of these things. Only some models have known reprogramming methods, I’m not sure MacBook Air battery is among one of them.

Battery capacity measurement may be corrected by using it for a few cycles.

The best you can do is first reset the SMC following this Apple T/N How to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac

I would also recommend you install this gem of an app: CoconutBattery it will allow you to monitor your batteries health. Paste a snapshot of the main window here for us to see iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法

Hey Sy

As @danj has mentioned above in his post to your issue, resetting the SMC controller after a battery replacement helps the MacBook detect the new battery. You also can monitor your batteries behavior with the Apple widget on the top of the Menu Bar.
