I was casually playing my 3DS XL and then it stopped charging during the day. I check everything and when I looked at the port, I was shocked. The top of the middle piece inside the port was cracked and chipped! I don't know what to do and it won't charge anymore. Someone please help.

What do you mean help? The only thing you can really do is mail it off to Nintendo to be fixed, mail it to some third party to be fixed, or buy the replacement part and solder it on yourself. It's not that hard to do yourself as long as you already know how to solder. I have personally done this repair on my own 3DS, but then again I repair electronics all day for work.

I didn't think of this until after already posting but you could always just use a charging cradle until you can get it fixed.
