Need to replace idle speed sensor
What is the location of the idle speed sensor on a 99 Bonneville? Is it something that a do it yourselfer can do. We have a more than average background with car engines.

Not sure what you mean by idle speed sensor. There is an idle control valve that looks something like this:

Also, there is an electronic throttle position sensor. This link will probably help you:

Lastly, there is a crankshaft position sensor that's located near the harmonic balancer. It'd be good to hook the car up to a code reader to find out which part you exactly need to replace, unless you know that already...
