My Beats Solo3 wireless headset wont turn on, connect, or reset
My Beats Solo3 wireless headset wont turn on, connect, or reset but the led lights will turn to charge but other than that I have to use it with an AUX cord. Please help

Ryan Schreiber these are known to have battery issues. If nothing else you want to go ahead and replace your battery. It will not turn on, connect, or reset with a bad battery. The light for the charging may come on but that is no indication that your battery is actually charging.

2nd set of solo 3 for my son, after 18 months the first set stopped connecting to device, unfixable, tried everything! Bought 2nd pair, 20 months, exactly same fault! Great product apart from this fault, starting to think it’s a deliberate fault installed by dr Dre!! Never again!! Alternative replacement suggestions welcomed!

I have a beat solo 3 Rose gold headphones that I got last year for Christmas they were working fine Wednesday and then when I try to use them at night they would not work it just kept blinking red and white I tried charging it nothing was coming on low power to it the Exhile cord works fine and when I try to do all the resets including factory reset it will not restart all the lights are on but it’s frozen and I can’t do anything about it does anyone have any ideas what’s causing this issue and how to fix it

I’ve bought my son 2 pairs of beats solo 3 headphones now in less than 2 yrs, both failed with same problem after a year or so, Bluetooth stopped working and then eventually the cable, I reckon they programmed to do that, and they can’t be fixed so useless and will never buy beat stuff again. I mean it’s not like they are anywhere near cheap! Also had to have new material fitted on the earpieces after not even a year! Dr Dre should of stuck to twiddling his knobs on his decks!
Not battery issue, i just replace my beats solo 3 with a new battery and still not working…

Hello,
I Have the same problem to you. I fix with the next stapes:
The first you need to know is for example, if one headphone is no working (speaker left for example) or wire, the beats doont turn on.
In my case one wire is not establishing conection, (you can check with a tester).
You need to do 3 important stapes:
- The first is connect beats to usb, and check the windows reconize your headphones.
- Check battery status
- Finally with connect usb on pc, press 10 seconds power button, you see your beats disconected to pc. (If not, you have a power button problem)
If this stapes are working good, check your music with and auxiliar cable, and see are listening left and right speaker.
In my Beats on Left case, one wire is not doing your funciont, like this:
This PINS are very sensible and is posible is broken, check the 3 PINS, and normally this is your solution.

If you press the power button the mute button and both the volume up and down buttons it will reset it

I don’t know either, I use beats solo 3, and it use to let me select it as a “headset ag audio” but then it disappeared and now I can’t hear game audio anymore. It says it’s disconnect and when I re connect, nothing happens. Anyone got any suggestions?

Throw them into the bin! The right earpiece on my solo 3 has stopped working altogether
you have to insert your penis into the beats.

I'm having the same issue.
My Beats Solo3 wireless headset will not turn on.
The firmware is up to date, and they are being recognized when I go to your.beatsbydre.com website, and the battery is at 100% per the website.
The 5 white led lights illuminate when its plugged in, butif I unplug it from the charging source, the led lights disappear gradually, but the headset will not turn on when I press the power button. Even after trying all reset solutions (hold down Power+Mute for 10 seconds, 2 minutes, etc) while being plugged in and/or unplugged. Still nothing. No lights. No power. Please help :((

The only way to relsolve this is have a person at Apple send it in for repair and they reprogram it or they send u a new one if you have warrenty, if you don’t have warrenty than I don’t know if you can still send it in but costs a lot of money to send it in without complete coverage

Having the some problem with mine.
Apple tried to charge me $129 to do this service without the warranty.
My warranty literally expired a month after this happened to mine...

Same situation, but after some ~six months (we could not send it to repair back in march due to the lockdown) I tried to recharge the headphones and they work as if nothing had happened before. Apparently the emptied battery somehow reset the headphones.
