What happens if my iPhone and my sim card had a rough Friday?

My username is literally @iamascrewup298 so maybe my problems can be fixed? Ok, so I was at a pool party and my phone had been thrown into the pool (accidentally) by me. I didn't know it was in there until my friend found it. We tried drying it off with a towel and i left it in my pool bag afterwards. Maybe an hour later I put it in rice, and then when i took out my phone for one second from the rice, I *sigh* dropped my phone on hardwood floor, and after that my phone wouldn't even turn on. Later that night, my friend advised me to take out the sim card. 24 hours passed where my phone has been sitting in rice during that time and my sim card was in a safe place. I thought I'd try turning on my phone again and try putting on the sim card. Well, I dropped the sim card in my bedroom. Can't find it. My phone still won't turn on... If i take my phone to Apple,will they be able to repair it and recover the data without the sim card? I have unlimited from T-mobile, will my unlimited data be gone? If I buy a new sim card will all data be lost? Plz help.
