What is the right replacement screen/lcd for a SONY VAIO VPCCA17FX?

This is the product I'm talking about: https://docs.sony.com/release//specs/VPC...

All the replacement screens for this model number are sold out, or unavailable. I really need to get this up and running. What should I do?

Please help!

Hi andycool2009,

I would suggest you to remove the defective LCD panel and check on the labels behind for part number, search the item on aliexpress and ebay.

Hopefully they have the replacement part.

Consider taking a picture for us to see.

I did open it up, it said: CLAA140WB01A. Since this post, I ordered these screens(In hopes the were compatible, but they weren't) https://www.amazon.com/CHUNGHWA-CLAA140W...

and

The one from newegg ran for a few minutes, but then stopped. The one from amazon never went on.

My laptop still works with a monitor, FYI.

You mentioned that they are not compatible , as in the connectors?

The connectors plugs in no problem. It's the screens that just don't light up. I even tried using a flashlight to see if it has any glow, but it doesn't.

I will post pics later today.
