My General Freezer GC12 is not freezing!
Hey guys i recently got a deep freeze off a friend who wasnt using it, it lights up on the light in the front, makes a hum but will not freeze and has been plugged in for a few days now.

'''nicholaswingerter''' the hum could be the compressor but double check on that. Also, check the evaporator. If the evaporator has no frost (is not cooling) and the compressor is running, then you have a sealed system failure. You could have a bad compressor or a lack of Freon (refrigerant).

It's a pretty old model and thanks for the advice maybe i will just cough up the cash and buy a new one thank you!
