The LG G Pad X 8.3, model number VK815, is a tablet that was released May of 2015, equipped with an 8.3 in. screen and 16 GB of internal storage. This device is not currently being manufactured.

Why did my screen freeze then go black?

Out of the blue my screen started to flicker, then it froze. After a couple seconds it just went black. What can I do to fix this?

A soft reset of the tablet is a possible fix for a frozen or unresponsive screen.

Press and hold the power button that is located at the right edge of the tablet for 10 seconds until the tablet powers off/resets.
