No use of Keyboard or Trackpad

2.2 GHz A1226 machine: I have recently lost the use of both my keyboard & trackpad simultaneously.

Keyboard Backlight, power button, light sensors, in fact everything else works just fine.

Any ideas ?

An external keyboard & mouse both work fine on usb & blue tooth & yes it was a liquid spill !

In fact a pint of beer thrown at my mixing console during a live concert !

Luckily the £80,000 mixing console survived, but my mac took the most damage.

I already had the screen replaced under insurance as it instantly had vertical weird lines down it after it's little drink, but then my insurance ran out before the keyboard & track pad died a couple of months later. It has been however a year since that & nothing else has gone wrong.

So it looks like I need a new keyboard & top case ?

Does anyone know if there is a way to test before splashing out on the new parts (t case & keys) to eliminate the logic board ??
