end less loop no charge

So my iPad Air 2 has never jailbroken or anything like that.

I was listening to music on spotify and all the sudden it went into endless reboot loop.

It will not charge on anything except the ipad apple charger.

It can be put in DFU but when I unplug it from the wall outlet it dies.

My macbook does not output enough to charge the ipad so I cannot connect it to itunes.

Help?

Sounds like it may be a dead battery. The good news is that charging appears to work. If you have access to a USB Ammeter, you could use that to determine if the phone is really drawing current when it says it's charging. It is possible that the issue is with the Lightning Port, so check the inside to see if there is any dust or lint impeding a proper connection.

However, if the battery is dead, it won't take or hold much of a charge and it is probably insufficient to fully boot the device. You could try to replace it yourself by following this guide. Otherwise, it's probably a logic board issue but you have try a known-good battery first.
