Kitchenaid KRMF706ESS power failure

My refrigerator starting acting up around 19 months after purchasing it. It started losing power to everything but the water/ice dispenser display. This has been happening almost weekly since and required being unplugged and plugged back in to get everything except the ice machine working again.

Today (Just hit the 2 year mark) I came home to find the same issue, except this time it will not reset when the power is cycled.

The only thing that is working is the water and ice dispenser display. It doesn't appear to have any other power.

Any ideas on what the issue could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you try and see if no cables were melted or any shortage happened to your refrigerator? Do you notice anything happening when you replug it or nothing at all?

I’m having the same issue! I’ve only had my fridge 3 years and it’s out of warranty. How did you resolve your issue?
