WINDOWS 10. Critical Process Died. Causes?

hey there team!

So i have a customer that has a blue screen on windows ten, and the error code that comes up, is "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" .

Does anyone have a list of known reasons for this, or an order of operations for troubleshooting the problem? it seems intermittent, and at pure random. i ran a youtube video overnight for three nights in a row, and it didnt happen, but while fiddling on word it happened.

im looking into it on google, but everyone is telling me to "Take it in to microsoft" which is about as helpful as a square wheel. so im hoping you guys have had some expeience with this.

Hi,

Have you checked in Event Viewer to see if there are any clues as to what is happening when it fails? For clues, look at the Applications and Services Logs section of the Event Viewer.

Have you tried running in 'safe mode' to see if it occurs?

Try analyzing or getting help to analyze the BSOD dump files

What is the make and model number of the laptop?
