Where is the Left Palm Temperature Sensor located

My 13” mid 2012 MacBook Pro is having some issues. It will always boot up, but the fans immediately come on full blast and it is extremely sluggish. Kernel_task is taking up ~300% of the CPU. The Apple Hardware Test is indicating the error code 4SNS/1/C0000008: TsOP—124. I know that means it is saying that the ‘left palm temperature sensor’ is bad. I thought everyone seemed to think that sensor was in the trackpad / trackpad flex cable, but I just installed a new one and that did not fix the issue. There is also a new SSD hard drive, and a new hard drive cable, the hard drive cable was also a suggestion of where that sensor is. I guess my question is, is there anything else left to try before I order a new logic board? I have already attempted to re solder the logic board and that didn’t help (nor did it do any harm.)

Also, I do not know the history of this machine, although it appears there may of been some sort of spill on it at some point.

I have tried cleaning everything with isopropyl alcohol but that didn’t work.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure it's in the trackpad. If the replacement didn't fix it that leaves a board issue probably with the SMC
