I was watching my Toshiba tv yesterday and out of nowhere it just shut off and won’t turn back on... I’ve tried different outlets, unplugging everything and holding the power button for 20 seconds and nothing is working... any suggestions for me?? Thank you!!

Are any of the tvs leds showing any life such as a standby light? I would also look extremely close and see if you can see a picture in good lighting, I had a Toshiba that had a backlight issue so might be worth checking.

Nope there’s no lights whatsoever
You say you've tried different outlets have you tried a different power cable?
Yes I have... I wonder would it sound as if the actual cord from the tv to the outlets has blown? It’s odd out of nowhere that would happen?
I’ve got it plugged into a power bar and everything else plugged into it is working
Its not common but it is possible its just worth it to check every issue outside the tv before we look into taking the back of and looking at the tv its self. the fact there isn't even power light on the tv indicates a power supply issue I would be sure that you know there is power getting to the tv. If your certain power is getting to the device then your problem is with the PSU board. its common for them to have fuses on you could start by checking them.

@ali_more14 what model is your TV? Do you have a multimeter or can you get one as well as some basic tools?
