Replacing screen with other phone's screen

So I've got 2 sgs3's, one of which is bricked beyond everything.

The other one's got about 10 million cracks in its screen.

Will it be possible (using the iFixit electronics essential toolkit) to take one screen and replace it with the other?

Yes it is possible. If they are both for the same carrier you can transfer the screen and midframe to the other phone. If they are from different carriers like at&t(gsm) and Verizon (cdma) then the midframe and motherboard layout are slightly different. In this case you can still transfer the display but without the midframe. If you had to you can also use a Dremel tool to grind down the midframe to make another carriers motherboard fit the midframe. This is not the funnest thing to do but is doable if needed. All carriers use the same display but depending on the cellular technology used (gsm vs cdma) the midframe and motherboard vary slightly. Removing just the display from the midframe, may or may not be necessary depending on the carrier. Either way the display is the same for all carriers so yes you can swap them out if you wish.

Sweet, they are from the same carrier by the way so I should be fine.
