wifi is turned off how can I set it to on and use it as a hostspot
how can i turn my laptop into a wifi hotspot. in settings it is shown wifi (off) and i cannot switch it on

Here is a guide from HowToGeek with guides for multiple OSs, the version for Windows 7 will also work with windows 8.

I've never used Window's hotspot. I have used this program https://filehippo.com/download_mypublicw... very good program. Hope this helps.
