replaced screen and digitizer to find evertouch screen non responsive

i replaced the screen and digitizer on my lenovo golden warrior A806 and once put back together and turned on, everything sounded and looked as it should but....when i tried to open the screen lock, which is literally a right flick across screen..it was totally unresponsive and lazily waited for an order before leaving me stunned..this happened each time i tried..and i took it apart and reassembled it to the letter..please, someone help and ill be so grateful you just wouldn't believe
